Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) October 20, 2016 -- Lessonly, the leader in learning automation software, today announced the hiring of Justin Fite as its new Chief Sales Officer. He joins Doug Wilson, who Lessonly enlisted in the role of Vice President of Product in June.
As a leader with ExactTarget for five years prior to its acquisition by Salesforce, Fite helped define and grow the company into an enterprise-class, customer-facing organization. “Two key elements drew me to Lessonly,” said Fite. “First, how broadly applicable Lessonly’s value is; we can help any group dramatically improve their productivity through better training and learning. Second, the positive company culture—where employees are happy and are empowered to positively impact our customers’ success makes Lessonly a great place to work.” Now, as Chief Sales Officer for Lessonly, Fite leads the company’s global sales organization.
“I had the pleasure of working with Justin at Salesforce,” said Lessonly Chief Operating Officer Conner Burt. “His character and drive, combined with his depth of experience, will help us realize the Lessonly mission. We're lucky to have him.”
Like Fite, Doug Wilson also worked at ExactTarget and then Salesforce, as Director of Product Management, before joining Lessonly. “I was fortunate to work for two great companies where I learned a lot about growing the business, building great products, and being customer-focused,” Wilson said. “I was sold on Lessonly when I started to understand the culture built around working hard, believing in teamwork, and focusing on our customers’ success.” Currently, Wilson and his team are focused on Lessonly’s Learning Automation for Salesforce integration, slated to launch in Q1 of 2017.
“Doug and Justin have hearts of gold and decades of experience in their respective areas,” said Lessonly CEO Max Yoder. “As we expand our global presence, they are ideal additions to our team.”
Ongoing growth continues at Lessonly, which nearly tripled its headcount in the first three quarters of 2016, from 17 to 49. Currently, the four-year-old company seeks additional experienced account executives to join its team, with additional current openings highlighted on its Careers page.
