NOVAtime Technology Inc.(http://www.novatime.com), a forward thinking Workforce Management / Time & Attendance company, has successfully enabled Pittsburg Skilled Nursing Center and Berkeley Pines Skilled Nursing Center. to send their Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) report to the Center for Medicaid Services (CMS) for their two establishments using their NOVAtime 5000 SaaS Workforce Management System, dramatically cutting down the time needed to accomplish this mandatory compliance reporting task.
Pittsburg Skilled Nursing Center, a leading provider of, a premier provider of skilled nursing care in the bay area, is required to submit direct care staffing information, including employees and contractors, based on payroll and other auditable data, per Section 6106 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Without any system in place for capturing this data, this requirement can prove to be a logistical nightmare for HR professionals working in a direct care environment.
NOVAtime has made it easy for Pittsburg Skilled Nursing Center by assisting them in using the PBJ reporting module of their existing NOVAtime 5000 system. Each facility uses NT7000FP biometric time clocks for employees to clock in and out, and view their current pay period’s timesheet as well as prior pay cycle’s.
