"Front Page" with host James Earl Jones discusses Culinary Travel Adventures for Public Television
(PRWEB) October 20, 2016 -- Culinary travel adventures are one of the fastest-growing segments of travel and tourism in the U.S., and a fascinating and informative segment of “Front Page” with James Earl Jones will explore its growing popularity and the panorama of available experiences.
Overall, 20% of people who travel do so solely for culinary adventure. The Millennial and Baby Boomer generations are particularly enthusiastic about culinary travel. Food is the deciding factor for travel more than 60% of the time for each group.
One of the reasons for the growing popularity of culinary travel adventure is the wide range of activities available. Participants tour countries and regions known for their unique cuisine, travel to food festivals, trek to wine or beer tastings, and walk historic food and agricultural routes. They may also participate in harvests, watch chef demonstrations, and learn to prepare local cuisines.
Culinary travel adventures also cover nearly every region of the globe, from gourmet meals in France to making chocolate from native cacao beans in Belize.
"Front Page" is produced by an award-winning team of writers, producers, and videographers. It is created solely for and distributed Public Television and PBS member stations, but is independently produced. Each episode of the program is filmed in high definition with the highest quality standards.
