Speaking at the event are modularization subject matter experts alongside a broad spectrum of owner organisations, with speakers from companies including BASF, Covestro, Tesoro, BP, KBR, Jacobs as well as a presentation from Stephen Mulva, Managing Director of the Construction Industry Institute.
Companies such as Shell Chemical, ExxonMobil, Sabic, PTT, NOVA Chemical, Total, Lyondelbassel Chemical to name just a few are scoping, planning or starting construction on major projects in the USGC and the Northeast US. A modular construction strategy being used on projects to control cost and schedule and as part of a wider project risk management strategy.
Building on the success of 2015’s conference, the event's organisers have combined sessions focused on modular construction, with others on a variety of engineering and construction challenges, including commissioning and start-up.
A Project Engineer working with INEOS that attending last year’s conference said, “It should be a 'must-attend' [event in the] calendar of any professional that is required to manage any part of a project that requires modular construction.”
