The UBTech Conference, and CCUMC (The Consortium of College and University Media Centers) announced a renewal of their agreement today to create additional specialized programming at the annual UBTech Conference.
The collaborative alliance between CCUMC and UBTech will include several new CCUMC-driven program sessions at UBTech 2017, which convenes at The Omni ChampionsGate Resort in Orlando FL, June 12-14.
“Our agreement with UBTech creates expanded benefits for campus leaders of media centers nationwide,” said Aileen Scales, CCUMC Executive Director. “UBTech is an established major higher ed technology conference. We are thrilled that we can contribute to its program, and provide colleges and universities with strategies for successfully deploying and managing the latest media technologies.”

Kinnaman, President of UBTech. “Our goal at UBTech is to equip everyone involved in campus AV/IT and media initiatives with the most current, cutting-edge insights, so they can excel in a challenging, rapidly-changing technology environment. Our collaboration with CCUMC helps us accomplish this.”
UBTech and CCUMC will cross-promote their joint activities in the higher education conference and training space, with an emphasis on attendance and participation at UBTech 2017 by CCUMC members, the audience of University Business magazine, and campus IT/AV/Media Center leaders nationwide.
The mission of CCUMC is to provide leadership and a forum for information exchange to the providers of media content, academic technology, and support for quality teaching and learning at institutions of higher education.
UBTech is an annual national summit on higher education AV, IT, technological innovation, institutional leadership, and student success, delivering focused high-level conversation and collaboration on how technology is shaping campus leadership and practice.
