Recovery Point Scores Highest in Three of Four Use Cases in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service Evaluation
Gaithersburg, MD (PRWEB) October 25, 2016 -- Recovery Point Systems, a leading national provider of integrated business resiliency solutions, announced today that it scored the highest in three out of four Use Cases in the Gartner Critical Capabilities for Recovery as a Service report published October 10, 2016, and that it tied for the second highest average score, evaluated across the seven core Critical Capability categories.
In the specific DRaaS Use Cases, Recovery Point earned the highest scores in the categories of Application Data Recovery (4.44 out of 5), Mission Critical Workload Recovery (4.30 out of 5), and Managed Service Failover (4.24 out of 5). In the category of Extended Recovery Operations, the Company’s score (4.28 out of 5) was the second highest. Recovery Point was also recognized as a Challenger for the first time in the June 2016 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service.
