According to Gartner, “By 2018, the number of organizations using disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) will exceed the number of organizations using traditional, syndicated recovery services.”

“We believe that our scores in the four Use Cases recognize our ability to execute successful recoveries for enterprise class customers operating complex heterogeneous IT environments.” said Recovery Point President, Marc Langer.

Recovery Point Systems, a leading national provider of integrated business resiliency solutions, announced today that it scored the highest in three out of four Use Cases in the Gartner Critical Capabilities for Recovery as a Service report published October 10, 2016, and that it tied for the second highest average score, evaluated across the seven core Critical Capability categories.

In the specific DRaaS Use Cases, Recovery Point earned the highest scores in the categories of Application Data Recovery (4.44 out of 5), Mission Critical Workload Recovery (4.30 out of 5), and Managed Service Failover (4.24 out of 5). In the category of Extended Recovery Operations, the Company’s score (4.28 out of 5) was the second highest. Recovery Point was also recognized as a Challenger for the first time in the June 2016 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

“We’re honored and delighted to have been recognized in this objective evaluation by the independent analysts at Gartner,” said Recovery Point President, Marc Langer. “We believe that our scores in the four Use Cases recognize our ability to execute successful recoveries for enterprise class customers operating complex heterogeneous IT environments.”

“Our industry is rapidly changing, which is why Recovery Point has focused its efforts the past 12 months on developing a depth of services to address the critical resiliency needs of our customers who operate hybrid configurations and complex data center environments,” said Langer. “While our customers’ success is the most meaningful measure of our performance, we’re understandably proud to have gained recognition — in the space of just three months — in both the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Critical Capabilities reports for Disaster Recovery as a Service.
