Billy Phinizy, a 68W Combat Medic, faced many challenges after his return from Afghanistan in 2010. Billy spent several months in an inpatient facility for severe PTSD and still suffers from a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other related health issues. Despite his injuries, his wife, Lauren, and their two young children maintain a positive outlook on life and work hard for everything they have.
In 2016, Designing Spaces approached Budget Blinds to be their exclusive window coverings provider for Military Makeover, which Budget Blinds graciously accepted in order to help create homes that would honor our nation’s heroes for their service to our country.
