His responsibilities include Transportation, Pricing, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement. Johnson will have a dual and matrixed reporting relationship to KANE CEO, Mike Gardner and Senior Vice President of Operations, John Hurst.

Johnson is a 30+ year veteran of the supply chain industry, with a strong background in accelerating transformational growth at global Fortune 100 companies. His experience includes operations, solutions design, continuous improvement, business formation and start-up, strategic business development and planning, product development, business process improvement, and change management at such companies as Deutsche Post DHL, Intermarine, International SOS, and Velocity.

“Mark is an innovator and a problem-solver with a strong track record of driving operational excellence,” says KANE’s Gardner. “He’ll play a key role in KANE’s efforts to provide the best customer service in the logistics industry.”

Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Illinois. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Association for Training & Development. Johnson will be based in Scranton, PA.
