Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) October 23, 2016 -- Viaduct today announced its formation to address the talent acquisition challenges facing startup and emerging businesses. The Viaduct ‘Talent Collaborative,’ which will launch in early 2017, will focus on emerging companies in the Buffalo Niagara region to provide talent access, informational programming, human capital resources, and funding—all of which will be facilitated through a user-friendly online portal.
Infusing experienced talent into a new business venture is a critical step for catalyzing growth, but there are roadblocks. Finding the necessary talent can be challenging, and allocating capital to secure those resources is often even more difficult. Viaduct will help startups bridge the gap between their talent needs and service providers who offer innovative funding models.
A corporation drawing on the independent backing of principals of the Superior Group, Viaduct will be based in Buffalo and will expand to other markets where startup talent needs impact growth and success.
According to Scott Stenclik, CEO of the new talent collaborative, "Viaduct will deliver real value to the Buffalo Niagara startup ecosystem by offering a one-stop talent solution for entrepreneurs. While the opportunity to scale to other cities in the U.S. and cross border to Canada is real, we are excited to launch Viaduct locally.”
In advance of its launch in 2017, Viaduct is conducting a focus group with local startups to learn more about the roadblocks and issues that they face in sourcing and hiring qualified individuals that deliver results. Also, candidate selection for an Executive Director to lead Viaduct is underway.
