Top companies in local marketing and technology beat out nearly 200 entrants in the 2nd annual competition hosted by hyperlocal industry resource Street Fight.

The goal of the Local Visionary Awards is to highlight companies and initiatives that may become models for the industry.

Street Fight (http://streetfightmag.com), the leader in business-to-business media on the connected local economy, today announced the winners of the 2nd annual Local Visionary Awards, a thirteen-category competition designed to honor the very best campaigns, companies, ideas and individuals in local marketing and commerce. They were announced on stage at Street Fight Summit 2016 held in New York City.

The awards recognized achievement in several categories: Best New Product, Best On-Demand App or Service, Best Solution for a Specific SMB Vertical, Most Effective Integration with an External API, Best Dashboard for Managing Local Campaigns, Best New Solution for Managing Local Data, Most Creative Use of Data in Local Campaigns, Best Multichannel Local Campaign, Most Innovative Local Media Business Strategy, Best Online-to-Offline Attribution Product, Best Marketing Campaign for Your Product, Best New Solution for Multi-Location Retailers, and Innovator of the Year.

These categories point to benchmarks in the ongoing disruption taking place in the way local businesses connect with local consumers. Nearly 200 submissions were received.
