Staff Pro is proud to announce the award by the City of San Antonio to provide Event Staffing services at the Alamodome. The award comes after an extensive bidding and evaluation process during which Staff Pro was judged superior to all competition. The move from “in house” operations to a third party provider is a noteworthy change for the City of San Antonio which has operated the Alamodome since 1993. As Staff Pro President, Cory Meredith stated, “We are honored to have won this award and look forward to providing our newest partners with our trademark high levels of service.”
Built in 1993, the Alamodome has hosted a wide range of high profile events from Final Fours to San Antonio Spurs NBA basketball, the annual Valero Alamobowl, concerts and trade shows. With over 1.6 million square feet of space inside the dome, the facility remains a destination for sports fans and guests. Recent transformational upgrades to the facility include: renovations to the North Plaza, concourse expansions, outdoor concession enhancements, HD Video Walls and ribbon boards, multi-use media room and locker room upgrades along with the addition of walk through security screening. “We are always looking to improve our service. With the Notre Dame/Army game, Alamo and Army Bowls, WWE's Royal Rumble, Big League Weekend Baseball, and the 2018 NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four, we believe Staff Pro brings the experience and a proven track record to provide a superior guest experience,” said Nick Langella, General Manager of the Alamodome.
The Staff Pro team in San Antonio is led by Richard Campbell. His veteran leadership and training background will assure a successful transition. We can hardly wait to get to work on our first event.” That first big game is on November 12, 2016 when Notre Dame plays Army in the Shamrock series.
