Xchange Technology Group announces the acquisition of Nirvana IT, a North Carolina-based IT infrastructure solutions firm. By adding Nirvana IT to its existing portfolio of IT services, XTG further expands its North American presence and maintains its place as a frontrunner in technology solutions for businesses.
“This acquisition, alongside our existing services, positions XTG and its subsidiaries to fill a unique gap in the infrastructure solutions market,” said Alan Rupp, CEO of Xchange Technology Group. “With the experience and expertise of the team at Nirvana IT, we will greatly expand our service solution offerings to meet the growing needs of our customers.”
Nirvana IT was founded in 2015 with a focus on providing virtualization solutions to clients’ IT challenges, utilizing channel partnerships, vendor relations and a flexible business model well positioned for growth. In just under two short years, Nirvana IT expanded service offerings including virtualization, storage, security & compliance and more to clients in education, banking, manufacturing, retail, construction, healthcare, utilities and the energy sector. Nirvana IT works with customers to transform existing IT infrastructures and speed up the implementation of solutions by creating customized solutions to significantly lower the cost of IT management.
The acquisition will allow XTG to expand targeted infrastructure services to new and existing customers across XTG’s IT Xchange and BlueRange Technology subsidiaries. With this addition, XTG will be able to build more comprehensive solutions to address customer challenges. The combined resources of Nirvana IT and the existing XTG teams will allow the company to offer on- and off-premise professional and managed services, as well as colocation and cloud services.
“The combined industry expertise of each company made this a natural fit for both XTG and Nirvana IT. The expansion of resources and knowledge equips us with the flexibility to scale with our customers, from small businesses to large enterprise,” said Rupp. “This allows us to create an enriched, simplified and complete IT experience for our customers.”
