Wine Decadence Aquires Direct Sales Company, Country Gourmet Home
Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) October 27, 2016 -- With the acquisition of Country Gourmet Home (CGH), Wine Decadence has now added an extensive line of ready-to-make mix packets that will pair with its wines for a broader appeal in the party-plan space.
The Wine Decadence sales model uses a network of independent contractors who hold in-home parties (wine tastings) that provide a fun and convenient environment in which customers can try and taste new wines. These home parties provide the opportunity for wine lovers nationwide to taste and buy rated wines from around the globe and across a range of prices. Wine Decadence has carried CGH products since June of 2016, and it was the success of those products that led the company to seek to acquire Country Gourmet Home.
Beginning in November 2017, Wine Decadence will have an expanded product line that will include more than 35 products from CGH in addition to the more than 50 wines available in their current line. All products will be available at Wine Decadence home parties and online at WineDecadence.com.
“We are at an exciting point at Wine Decadence -- we are rapidly expanding into other states with plans for even more growth during the final parts of this year and into 2017,” said Rick Cox, CEO and chairman of Wine Decadence. “We had an amazing opportunity to bring a whole new product line to our customers and Consultants while introducing CGH customers and Consultants to top-quality, rated wines from around the world.”
The acquisition comes at a time of significant growth at Wine Decadence. In a few short months, the company welcomed consultants in seven new states. With Country Gourmet Foods, it has already welcomed nearly 100 new consultants in 35 states and brought a whole new product line of gourmet food mixes and expects that to double in all 50 states before the end of the year. Additionally, the acquisition positions Wine Decadence as the only home party company that offers a wide selection of not only quality wines but an extensive food pairing option as well.
The acquisition of Country Gourmet Home was facilitated by Massachusetts-based Ohana Enterprises, a consulting company that specializes in Direct-Sales and Party-Plan growth. The company is led by industry pioneer Tiffany James who said, “We always like to find companies that have a synergy. The union of Wine Decadence and Country Gourmet Home will allow Wine Decadence to continue our explosive growth into 2017.”
Country Gourmet Home was praised as the second best direct sales food company to consider by http://www.thebestdirectsalescompanies.com.
“I am so proud to find a company that is as committed to quality and customer service as I am,” said Amy Beth, CEO of Country Gourmet Home. “Our customers and consultants are in great hands with the Wine Decadence leadership. I look forward to watching the growth and excitement continue.”
Wine Decadence is working to transition the current customers and Consultants of CGH into the systems and programs of Wine Decadence. Company Chief Operations Officer and Partner Anna Valent said, “Customer service is a top priority at Wine Decadence. We look forward to working closely with all of the CGH Consultants and bringing the world of wine to CGH customers.”
