Larry J. Kosmont is the recipient of a CBPA Champion of The Industry Award for his accomplishments in the fields of real estate and economic development.

On Thursday, October 20, 2016 Larry J. Kosmont, CRE® President and CEO of Kosmont Companies, was recognized for his efforts in the real estate service industry, by the California Business Properties Association (CBPA). Mr. Kosmont received a Champion of the Industry Award for his accomplishments in the fields of real estate and economic development. This recognition comes largely in part due to his efforts and dedication of 30+ years of service to help communities flourish. An awards dinner was held at The Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach to honor real estate industry leaders, including Mr. Kosmont.

This recognition comes from Mr. Rex S. Hime, President and CEO of CBPA. CBPA is the designated legislative advocate for several real estate councils and associations for the state of California including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), NAIOP of California, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Commercial Real Estate Developers Association among many others. Representing over 10,000 members, CBPA is the largest consortium of commercial real estate professionals in California.
