"The profile of the buyers at the property shows in Britain has changed. 62% of the buyers at the September 2016 shows said they wanted to buy within the next 6 months against 45% in 2015" explains Joanna Leggett, Marketing Director.
(PRWEB) November 02, 2016
Leggett Immobilier, the estate agents chosen by one out of ten British buyers in France, has released their sales figures.
The number of properties sold to British clients, between July and October 2016 is equal to last year’s figures during the same period of time:
- July 2015 Vs. July 2016: -2.2%*
- August 2015 Vs. August 2016: -0.7%*
- September 2015 Vs. September 2016: +2.9%*
In September, Leggett Immobilier was at the French Property Show in London and at the A Place In the Sun show in Birmingham. Our head of marketing, Joanna Leggett, noticed that “the profile of the visitors has changed. They no longer come to be convinced to cross the Channel; they have already made their mind up. 62% of the buyers at the September 2016 shows said they wanted to buy within the next 6 months. In September 2015, only 45% had the same intent”.
Leggett Immobilier received over 14,384 enquiries from the UK over the last three months. Despite Brexit, British buyers remain very active on the French market.
