Godley Station Dental To Host Scare Away Tooth Decay Event for Children
POOLER, Ga (PRWEB) October 27, 2016 -- On Friday, November 4, from 1 - 4 p.m., the professional team at Godley Station Dental will offer complimentary dental exams, teeth cleanings, and x-rays for area youth ages 12 and under to raise awareness of the importance of oral health care as part of the Scare Away Tooth Decay event.
According to the CDC Division of Oral Health, ‘about 1 out of 5 children aged 5 to 11 years have at least one untreated decayed tooth.’ Godley Station Dental owner and founder, Dr. Matthew Allen says, “The Scare Away Tooth Decay event intends to raise awareness of the importance of children’s oral health and to encourage parents to bring their children in for professional care.”
The team at Godley Station Dental encourages parents to bring school oral health forms to the event for necessary authorization. Children will receive a thorough examination, cleaning, and x-rays from an expert dental team.
