Polaris Logistics Group, a Toledo Ohio-based third party logistics company that focuses on truckload, flatbed, intermodal, and LTL (less than truckload) freight, has opened a San Francisco (Richmond) area office – continuing its rapid strategic growth trajectory across North America.

According to Dan Nester, President and Chief Executive Officer, expanding the Polaris footprint is key toward offering cost effective solutions, and maintaining more face-to-face relationships with key partners.

“Since its founding in 2013, the Polaris philosophy has always been to create exceptional value for customers and carrier partners. Part of this means being strategically-located at points across North America, across all time zones and closer to high volume freight and carrier hubs. Polaris is committed to being where the action is,” Nester said.

In addition to offices in Ohio and California, Polaris Logistics Group also has a location in Salt Lake City, Utah.

According to Nester, over the next two years, the company is on track to add an additional two locations in the eastern and southern United States. The company expects to triple its employee count and grow its annual revenue to $25 million over the next five years.
