UserReplay, a provider of customer experience analytics that enables businesses to uncover unrealized revenue in their digital pipeline and improve customers’ digital experience, today announced that the U.S. Patent Office has awarded the following patent to the company:
● US Patent Application # 14/855,047 US: Systems and Methods for Recording and Recreating Interactive User-Sessions Involving an On-Line Server
This patent illustrates UserReplay’s invention of a method for recording and recreating a user journey on a website. The method utilizes an auditing system to capture and report an interactive client journey between a web-browser and a website by capturing and implying real-time interactions between the user, the web-browser on the computing device and the web-server. UserReplay’s auditing system captures data allowing an analyzer to use it to visually recreate the user session and analyze what transpired during the user session.
“As a leading provider of customer experience analytics, this patent illustrates our commitment to providing our customers the technology they need to optimize digital experiences for their customers and ultimately their revenue potential,” said UserReplay CEO, John Thompson. “Recording and replaying online customer sessions to improve user experience creates a massive amount of big data. To address this, we’ve invented a completely new way to harness, analyze and recreate better scenarios with this data.”
Used by some of today’s most recognizable global brands, UserReplay’s technology automatically reveals issues that can be resolved to reduce customer friction and frustration and will lead to potentially millions of dollars in what otherwise would have been lost conversion opportunities.
“This technology is more cost efficient and accurate than traditional ways of assessing website operation and enables companies to identify barriers to conversions in real time, resulting in potentially millions of dollars in additional revenue,” added Thompson. “This makes it a mission critical solution for retailers, eCommerce, financial service and travel & leisure companies looking to find revenue that they have already earned but is yet unrecognized, due to suboptimal online customer experiences.”
In addition to the new patent, UserReplay recently launched a new machine learning solution to detect segments of users where customer experience should be optimized. It does this by detecting and learning the complex behavioral signatures of customers having a suboptimal experience, and automatically understands the size of the segment and the aggregate value of the revenue opportunity.
UserReplay’s customer experience analytics solution enables businesses to discover the truth about their customers’ digital experience. It combines replay of customer journeys with sophisticated analytics that identify customer struggles and monetizes their impact. This helps improve conversion, resolve technical and usability issues more quickly, recover lost customers and prevent fraud.
Aimed at medium to large enterprises with digital channels, UserReplay has the flexibility to be deployed as SaaS or installed software. Leading brands all over the world rely on UserReplay to improve the quality of their website experience for customers and increase revenue from their digital channel. The company has raised over $10M in funding to date from EC1 Capital Ltd, Episode 1 and others. For more information, visit http://www.userreplay.com.
