Validity Screening Solutions, a leading provider of employment screening services, will be hosting a professional development webinar on Form I-9 compliance. USCIS Analyst, Sue Kohlwey, will be sharing her knowledge of I-9 compliance and the changes coming to the updated Form I-9 in late November.
The USCIS recently announced that the current version of the Form I-9 will be replaced by November 22, 2016. Employers will be required to transition to the new version of the Form I-9 before January 21, 2017. This transition will require employers to familiarize themselves with any changes with the Form I-9 as well as train all authorized representatives on the use of the new form.
Attendees can expect to learn how to correctly complete the Form I-9, highlight common Form I-9 mistakes and how to correct them, self-auditing processes and a sneak peak of the updates coming in November.
