ValuD Consulting Announces Acquisition of AME, a Leading MAXIMO Solution Provider
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) October 26, 2016 -- ValuD Consulting, the leading full-service provider of IBM TRIRIGA solutions, announced today the acquisition of Asset Management Engineering, Inc. (AME). AME offers a full range of IBM Maximo consulting, technical services, support services and training services. AME’s diverse client base includes hospitals, hotels, municipalities, universities, water districts, utilities and other organizations with a common need to efficiently manage extensive assets.
The acquisition of AME is part of ValuD’s vision to expand its solution offerings to meet the growing needs of its clients. Increasingly, ValuD’s clients have business requirements that can only be met through the integration of IBM TRIRIGA, Maximo and Internet of Things technologies. Prior to the acquisition, ValuD and AME successfully partnered on multiple engagements to either implement Maximo or integrate IBM TRIRIGA with IBM Maximo.
Scott Williamson, ValuD’s Chief Commercial Officer said, “We are extremely excited to add AME to the ValuD family. AME has an expert team and its culture is in line with ValuD’s focus on doing whatever it takes to make our clients successful. IBM Maximo is a logical next step for ValuD, and AME will accelerate our push into Internet of Things market.”
“AME has served the needs of many clients over the past 20 years with Maximo Asset Management services geared towards maintaining facility, fleet and infrastructure assets. With this acquisition, we will be able to provide both new and existing clients a broader range of services with the same focus on client success,” added Brett Burton, AME’s CEO and ValuD Maximo Practice Leader.
AME is the second strategic investment ValuD has executed in 2016. In April of 2016, ValuD invested in Motors@Work, a pioneer in motor and pump-driven system energy optimization with a focus on the Industrial Internet of Things sector. Motors@Work leverages patent-pending technology to optimize motors and pumps based on multiple factors including: motor/pump type, energy usage, cost of energy and weather data. ValuD will leverage the skilled team from AME to deliver standard interfaces between Motors@Work, IBM Maximo and IBM’s Internet of Things technologies.
