Mike Candela has been named Vice President, Sales, AM&C. Alison Teitelbaum, MS, MPH, CAE, has been promoted to Associate Vice President, AM&C.

Mike Candela leads MCI USA’s sales team, providing strategic oversight of MCI USA’s clients’ non-dues revenue and sponsorship programs. He has established a sales management process that relies on building the infrastructure as well as defining and implementing the procedures needed to ensure rapid and profitable growth for MCI USA’s clients. Over the past 15 years he has helped more than 150 national associations increase membership, generate revenue and become top-of-mind in their respective industries. Candela has an expansive background in event, print, social and digital revenue generation. He has multi-disciplinary association experience in business development, marketing, communications, public relations and advocacy.
Alison Teitelbaum, MS, MPH, CAE, has extensive experience in leading health care-related associations. She serves as the chief staff executive for the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH). In this role she led NCH’s complete rebranding effort, which was recognized by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) with a 2014 Gold Circle Award. Teitelbaum also serves as the Senior Director for Health Programming & Strategy for the American Health Quality Association (AHQA). In this role she has performed as AHQA’s in-house public health expert and an industry liaison within the quality improvement community. Teitelbaum has been recognized by the association community with an invitation to ASAE’s exclusive 2014 NextGen Summit and as an Association Forum of Chicagoland/USAE Forty Under 40 Award recipient.
