Coherix Announces Appointment of New General Manager in China
Ann Arbor, Michigan (PRWEB) October 27, 2016 -- Coherix, Inc., a global leader in Three-Dimensional (3D) Machine Vision, today announced the appointment of Dr. Xihan Qian as its new General Manager in Coherix China. He will oversee the operation in China, formulate business plans and strategies, and report directly to the CEO of Coherix.
Prior to joining Coherix, Dr. Qian successfully launched a subsidiary for a German machine vision company in Shanghai China, and served as General Manager for about four years. Within the first year, Dr. Qian managed to achieve rapid market penetration. Previously, Dr. Qian was the premier representative of the German Mechanical Engineering Federation in Shanghai, and a researcher at Fraunhofer in Germany, focusing on the application of data mining in intelligent maintenance. Dr. Qian received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.

Dr. Qian officially started his new job in September 2016. Dr. Zhenhua Huang, Dr. Qian’s predecessor who launched Coherix China in Dec 2015, was back in the company’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and started his new role as Chief Technical Officer of Asia Pacific and Robust3D™ Product Manager in early October.
