With 2.5 quintillion bytes of new data created daily, Element Blue and SensorInsight are about delivering sustainable IoT solutions that are accessible enough to bring meaningful change to communities, and truly changing lives.

Element Blue™, a leading IT consulting firm and solution provider of enterprise software products, today announced that Joey Bernal, CTO of Element Blue and co-founder of SensorInsight®, is presenting an innovative IOT water application solution at World of Watson in Las Vegas. His presentation will illustrate how technology is transforming the water/utility industry by effectively utilizing knowledge from data.

“We have demonstrated how integrating data and analytic capabilities at Oxfam International have resulted in better visibility into water usage monitoring,” Bernal explained. “With 2.5 quintillion bytes of new data created daily, Element Blue and SensorInsight are about delivering sustainable IoT solutions that are accessible enough to bring meaningful change to communities, and truly changing lives. We are on the forefront of utilizing cognitive systems that are creating a new partnership between humans and technology.”

The Oxfam project is an example of how SensorInsight built on an IBM's software stack greatly improved aspects of water and resource management. Lack of access to safe, reliable water is an ongoing problem in East Africa. With thousands of water points in place, Oxfam needed a system in place for monitoring and maximizing the efficiency of the water lifecycle. Providing visibility and trend analysis with SensorInsight, it allows government agencies to respond more quickly to fluctuations and situations with the water supply.
