Media industry leaders are meeting with investment bankers, investors and advisers for the Media Finance Summit in London on December 1, to assess the surge in media related merger and acquisition activity predicted across Europe and globally over the next 18 months.

Consolidation in the media sector has been accelerating rapidly as digital and OTT strategies, as well as the emergence of powerful new online media businesses is shaking up the industry, providing huge opportunities as well as challenges to media companies, investors and advisers.

The inaugural Media Finance Summit forms part of the annual TMT Finance World Congress & Awards 2016, the largest gathering of key financial decision-makers, investors and advisers in the telecom, media and tech space globally, organised by leading TMT M&A news provider TMT Finance.
