KLAS Rates Voalte Top Platform Vendor for Improved Care Team Communication
SARASOTA, Fla. (PRWEB) November 01, 2016 -- Voalte, the leader in healthcare communication technology, announced that a report published today by the research firm KLAS names Voalte the top-rated platform vendor for care team communication. According to the KLAS report, Secure Communication 2016, “Voalte is the platform vendor with the most significant impact on improving care team communication and coordination.”
KLAS also noted the importance of integrating a communication solution with various hospital systems, and cited Voalte’s “ability to quickly and easily build indispensable interfaces through a partnership with Connexall for alarms and nurse call systems.” Customers said the “strong alerting functionality improves nurse efficiency, care delivery and patient outcomes.”
“This KLAS report confirms that Voalte is the premier enterprise communication vendor and the best choice for healthcare organizations that want to enable high-quality patient care, ensure better outcomes and enhance caregiver productivity,” said Adam McMullin, Chairman and CEO of Voalte. “This report combined with our strategic partnership with Connexall, ranked number-one by KLAS for Alarm Management, further solidifies our position as the healthcare communication leader.”
To help healthcare organizations differentiate communication vendors, KLAS divided the market into “platform” vendors that are moving toward enterprise-wide communication, and “standard” vendors that primarily offer secure text messaging. Voalte was named an enterprise platform vendor, with KLAS stating, “Voalte customers report that the system is used by a wide variety of users, and almost all customers say the solution is deployed across the entire enterprise.”
Avera Health, a healthcare system of 300 facilities in the five-state region of South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska, is in the process of deploying Voalte Platform™ system-wide.
“Our vision is to create seamless care team collaboration inside and outside the hospital on one unified communication device,” said Candice Friestad, MSN, MBA, RN, Director of Clinical Informatics at Avera. “Communication is integrated with our nurse call, physiological monitoring and the EHR, and will be standardized across disciplines to connect the entire enterprise.”
