New Hampshire CEO and Cooperative Leader Speaks at International Summit of Cooperatives in Quebec
Manchester, NH (PRWEB) October 28, 2016 -- Howard Brodsky, CEO of CCA Global Partners, recently addressed over 3000 attendees from over 116 countries at the 2016 International Summit of Cooperatives in Quebec City, Canada during his keynote presentation.
The International Summit of Cooperatives is the largest conference for cooperatives businesses in the world. It offers professionals, decision-makers and leaders of cooperatives and mutuals of every size and in every sector, as well as every player in the business world, a unique forum for reflection, discussion, consultation and education about current and future leading trends and economic and financial issues.

To meet these goals it is essential to spread the awareness and understanding of cooperatives. During his presentation, Brodsky shared plans to help spread the word about the benefits of cooperative business through the Cooperatives For A Better World campaign. This campaign is designed to engage members and employees of cooperatives as well as those not affiliated with cooperatives with information and resources.
“We live in a world where the wealth gap is widening. The cooperative business model has the ability to narrow this gap,” said Brodsky. “It’s important to build the co-op brand as a mainstream business solution. The co-op brand can’t stand by itself. We need to share the ‘why’ behind our brand to reach our audience.”
Brodsky also participated in panel with influential leaders such as acclaimed economist Jeremey Rifkin and International Co-operative Alliance president Monique Leroux. His discussions throughout the event rallied other cooperative leaders to drive cooperatives forward through participating in the Cooperatives For A Better World initiative.
Throughout the event, it was highlighted that the cooperative business model meets the expectations of today’s consumers and the Millennial perspective. The socially and economically responsible practices already in place in the cooperative business model align with the current consumer sentiment.
“The cooperative business model has many advantages and everyone at the Summit understands this,” said Brodsky. “Now it’s time to make sure the rest of the world understands these benefits.”
