Gaming Icon Turns to Hollywood to Bring New Innovation to Gaming Industry

Vision Media Management (“Vision”) has collaborated with the legendary video gaming company, Activision Publishing, Inc. (“Activision”) on a first-of-its-kind video game experience that gives users the opportunity to bring their creations to life in brand new ways. Launched in 2011 by Activision, Skylanders pioneered a new videogame category called Toys-to-Life which enabled users to take toy figures directly into the videogame. Each new version of Skylanders has incorporated a new technology building toward the 2016 release of Skylanders® Imaginators, available worldwide, which allows users to create in-game characters and bring them to life through consumer products like 3D printed figures (quantities limited), collectible cards and even T-shirts showcasing the user’s creation.

Users can create their own Skylander within the Skylanders Imaginators game or directly in the Skylanders™ Creator app (available for iOS and Android). Once a character is created in the app or transferred from the console game, users can purchase various products that are custom made and unique to the character. Additionally, the 3D printed figures and collectable cards let players bring their characters to life in the console game. Availability of products varies by territory. For more information, visit

Once a user enters the Skylanders Creator store, Vision’s platform generates and displays a rendering of the created Skylander character in toy, card, and shirt formats. Upon receiving a consumer order, Vision distributes the required data to participating vendors for production and fulfillment. The platform is designed to scale to the client’s need.
