Michael Kurland, CEO of Branded Group, announced today that Jon Thomas, an operations and business process leader in the facilities maintenance industry, will join Branded Group as president.

Thomas was formerly a senior director at a nationwide retail facilities maintenance company where he managed operations and business process. He worked with functional leaders in defining and optimizing business processes to meet aggressive financial metrics.

Thomas began his industry career as a facilities coordinator at Nextel Communications and then was quickly promoted to project manager at post-merger Sprint Nextel. He also worked with PS Business Parks where he was a commercial property manager for 1.1M square feet of newly acquired office space in Tysons Corner, Va., which was the largest single acquisition of office buildings in Tysons Corner at the time.
