Jean Jacques Borno, CEO and founder of fintech startup 1787fp, won the Media Favorite Award for the FinDEVr Silicon Valley 2016 conference. Borno is a Certified Financial Planner professional with over 15 years of experience in financial services and has just been named a 2016 Washington, D.C., Five Star Wealth Manager for the second year in a row. With his 1787fp platform, he was recently accepted into the University of Virginia’s 2016 i.Lab incubator program, operated by the Batten Institute for entrepreneurship and innovation UVA’s Darden School of Business.
This year’s presenters included BBVA, Wealthfront, IBM, Envestnet and PwC. There were more than 45 companies that presented at the two-day fintech developer conference.
