Our goal is to introduce display manufacturers to high-performance solutions for light and color measurement
Redmond, WA (PRWEB) October 31, 2016
Radiant Vision Systems, a leading provider of visual test and inspection systems for lighting and display devices, will participate in the Optoelectronics Display Expo, a specialized show within the 18th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) to be held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (SZCEC) from November 16-21, 2016. At the company’s booth in Pavilion 3, #3C26, Radiant will demonstrate industry-leading solutions for automated in-line display inspection, including light and color uniformity testing and defect detection using the intuitive TrueTest™ Software interface paired with high-speed ProMetric® imaging colorimeters and photometers.
“With Radiant’s debut at the China Hi-Tech Fair this year, we are bringing our most advanced products to the table. Our goal is to introduce display manufacturers to high-performance solutions for light and color measurement, which are capable of outperforming human inspectors for both speed and accuracy in defect detection on the manufacturing line,” said Stone Jiang, Vice President of Radiant Asia Key Account Sales and General Manager of Radiant China. “Our automated visual inspection solutions allow manufacturers of high-value display products to ensure absolute product quality using objective, consistent light and color measurement data. This data enables a number of automated processes, such as pass/fail mechanisms and production-level process improvement, and provides the basis for machine-to-machine communication in preparation for Industry 4.0. We are eager to cooperate with China display manufacturers in reaching their competitive potential in this next Industrial Revolution, using the latest automated technologies, and look forward to introducing our solutions at CHTF.”
In addition to showcasing live product demos from its booth at the Optoelectronics Display Expo, Radiant will deliver the keynote speech at the China International Display Conference (CIDC). The conference is co-located with the China Hi-Tech Fair, on November 17 from 10:00-16:30 CST. Radiant’s technical experts will address how advanced photometric imaging solutions are being used to detect not only color and lighting uniformity issues in displays, but also surface-level cosmetic defects (such as hardware dents and scratches) with more precision than standard radiometric machine vision technology. The keynote will be provided in both English and Chinese. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with members of the global Radiant team following the presentation.
Radiant continues to augment its resources in China to address the rapidly developing industrial landscape. The rapid growth of the consumer electronics industry has led to an intensely competitive marketplace; a manufacturer’s viability is increasingly at risk if imperfections escape from the production facility into the supply chains of the major OEM brands in China and worldwide. Manufacturers are under mounting pressure to balance productivity and adaptability to change, and are turning to automated solutions for complete control in their quality operations. As the world leader in automated visual inspection systems for display manufacturing, Radiant Vision Systems has helped thousands of global companies overcome the challenges of transforming manual inspection to automated processes by integrating precision imaging technologies on the line. Radiant’s cumulative experience and technical capability in solving a range of display lighting, color, and defect detection applications have made Radiant the first choice for automated inspection in the China display market, and Radiant continues to partner with manufacturers to support projects throughout the evolution of their operations.
