YANMAR America Acquires Land for New Training and Customer Experience Facility
Adairsville, GA (PRWEB) November 01, 2016 -- YANMAR America, a global manufacturer of advanced performance Industrial and Marine Diesel Engines and Generators; Compact Construction, Agricultural and Utility Task Vehicle equipment and gas engine based Energy Systems, is excited to announce that it has invested $20 million and acquired 50-plus acres of land in Acworth, Georgia to build a new training and customer experience facility. The new facility is slated to open in August 2017 with an official groundbreaking ceremony at the site on November 16, 2016.

Located within the 75 Corridor at the corner of Highway 92 and Old Alabama Road in Cherokee County, the almost 50,000 square foot facility will feature classrooms with dedicated space for each of the business’ product lines: industrial diesel engines and generators, commercial marine diesel engines, agriculture equipment, construction equipment, utility task vehicles and energy systems; an auditorium; museum; gift shop; cantina; office space and meeting space. Outdoor amenities will include a customer experience area for product demonstrations.

Croft Architects Engineers based in Kennesaw, Georgia will design and engineer the facility. In addition, Carroll Daniel Construction from Gainesville, Georgia has been selected as the general contractor.
