Scharf Building Services (SBS), residential and commercial contractors based in Belleville, IL, was recently named the 2016 AdviCoach Client of the Year. Kent & Debbi Scharf, the husband and wife team who launched SBS in 2006, earned the award by celebrating 10 years in business and recently surpassing the 7-figure mark in 2016 gross revenues.

SBS has a long history of providing quality service to their customers. Local customers knew they could rely on the Scharfs for custom projects, emergency services (Fire, water or other damage), as well as remodeling residential and commercial facilities.

Even so, the Scharfs believed they were capable of more and partnered with Pedigo and AdviCoach heading in to 2015. Pedigo inspired the Scharfs to take a fresh approach to their business in 2016 – setting goals and developing plans for future progression. Pedigo also helped the Scharfs elevate their level of accountability, helping them realize they could accomplish far more than they imagined.

The impact has been staggering and the numbers speak for themselves. While the transformation hasn’t always been easy, 2016 has quickly proven to be the most successful year to date for SBS. As of August 31, 2016, gross revenue had surpassed the projected increase of 35% to 121%, while expenses were down by $72,000. Additionally, gross revenue is projected to be doubled and net income is set to quadruple by the end of the calendar year, in comparison to 2015.

The Scharfs say they wouldn’t be here without the ongoing coaching of Pedigo and AdviCoach.
