October 31, 2016, Chelmsford, MA: Sensera Ltd (Sensera), a microsensor and microcomponent business focused on the design and production of specialized high performance components for the healthcare, industrial, security and aerospace markets is pleased to announce the appointment of George Lauro to its Board of Directors.
George is an experienced technology entrepreneur, operating executive, and venture capitalist and has served on over a dozen Semiconductor/MEMS sector companies throughout his career. He was Head of west coast technology investing at Wasserstein Perella, a leading Wall Street private equity and LBO firm. Earlier in his career, he was Managing Director of Technology Commercialization at IBM headquarters and began his career as an MIT Engineer, designing inertial guidance systems for spacecraft at MIT/Draper Lab while pursuing graduate studies at MIT Aero/Astro department.
Chairman Matthew Morgan welcomed George’s appointment by stating, “we look forward to George joining the Sensera Board of Directors as he brings significant sector and transactional experience.
