AriasBosinger Welcomes New Attorney Laura M. Ballard
(PRWEB) November 02, 2016 -- Arias Bosinger, PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of Laura M. Ballard as Of Counsel to the firm. She will practice out of the firm’s Altamonte Springs office.
Laura Ballard was born in Texas and has been a resident of Florida since 1983. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Criminal Justice. Laura obtained her law degree from Barry University School of Law where she was a distinguished leader and student, including being the recipient of the Legal Writing Award and Academic Scholarship. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and competed in national moot court competitions.
Laura began her career as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. Thereafter, she started her own practice primarily handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate transactions, and business entity formation.
In 2008, Laura increased her focus in real estate law when she joined a creditor’s rights firm as a lead trial attorney representing financial institutions in all stages of mortgage foreclosure actions. Laura also served in the firm’s Title Curative Department where she represented financial institutions on a variety of title related issues. She has also represented community associations in a variety of litigation matters, including estoppel disputes, lien foreclosures, declaratory judgment actions, and third party claims.
Among the professional groups in which Laura has held memberships are the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, Condominium & Planned Development Committee, Landlord/Tenant Committee, Orange County Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
