Eden Resort & Suites announces, effective December 1, 2016, the hotel will be leaving the Best Western Premier brand and will begin to operate as an independent hotel. The Eden Resort’s decision to transition from their current status as a Best Western Premier Hotel was an outgrowth of the hotel’s ongoing commitment to meeting the local and regional needs of their business and leisure guests. Operating as an independent hotel enables the Eden Resort to be fluid in their ability to enhance a guest’s local experience without the requirement to adhere to more generic nationwide brand-specific protocols.

Stephen Sikking, the Eden Resort & Suites Managing Partner, stated “As a hotel, we pride ourselves on our ability to identify and react to the specific needs of the marketplace. We value our clients and listen to their input as to what elements would enhance their overall hotel experience. Our decision to become independent allows us to be more responsive to our clients’ needs and not to a specific hotel brand. We are unlike any hotel in the market; a unique locally-owned-and-operated hotel that offers the benefits of a full-service resort, an extended stay hotel and a specialty meeting facility, all within the same property.”

The Eden Resort & Suites, the area’s premier full-service hotel, recently completed the final phase of a 10-year $50 million renovation plan to the Resort. The hotel offers 300 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, two award-winning restaurants, an inviting cocktail lounge, indoor and outdoor pools, an outdoor recreation complex and a newly expanded fitness center.

Background: Locally owned and operated since 1972, the Best Western Premier Eden Resort & Suites (then the Treadway Resort Inn) began delivering a unique relaxing experience to their guests in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by providing premium accommodations, amenities and service at an incredible value. The legacy continues today with the exceptional innovative features and warm welcoming service that promise complete guest satisfaction. The Eden Resort & Suites (http://www.edenresort.com) exceptional level of hospitality is affirmed by awards including TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and its multi-year #1 ranking on TripAdvisor, The Wedding Wire Brides Choice Award, and Lancaster’s Favorite Hotel as voted on in numerous local publications.

*Edit: Best Western Rewards Members will still earn points for qualified stays at The Eden Resort & Suites.
