Seniors Guide Extends Seniors Got Talent Deadline for Submissions to November 31
Richmond, Virginia (PRWEB) November 03, 2016 -- To give more seniors the opportunity to compete in this year’s Seniors Got Talent, the publication has decided to extend the deadline for videos from November 1 to November 31. The online talent competition, hosted by Seniors Guide, awards the senior(s) whose video receives the most online votes $1,000, with second and third places receiving $500 and $250.
“With the election stealing everyone’s attention, we wanted to give seniors a little extra time to get their entries in this year,” says Katharine Ross, vice president of Seniors Guide magazine. “Our talented fans will now have more time to perfect their video to participate!”
In the 2016 competition, submissions have ranged from a 95-year-old Alzheimer’s patient playing “Amazing Grace” on the piano to a hip hop dance team. Video entries are posted on http://www.seniorsguideonline.com, where supporters with a valid email address can place one vote per day for their favorite videos.
Voting ends on December 31, and Seniors Guide will announce the winners in January. This is the sixth year of the competition.
