Schneider Electric And Zurich Join the Chief Digital Officer Forum Agenda

This November 17 & 18, Innovation Enterprise brings together senior executives from some of the United States’ most digitally proficient companies at the Chief Digital Officer Forum. The forum will, in part, focus on the future of digital business and the challenges set to face executives in businesses of all sizes in the coming years. Among the tightly packed agenda are the SVP of North America for Schneider Electric, Iram Shah, and the Head of Digital at Zurich, Monu Kalsi. Innovation Enterprise asked both about the trends they consider the most important in the year ahead.

‘The increasing dependency on customer data and limited access to good, clean, and dependable data will continue to be a hurdle that all digital executives will have to overcome as they are moving in the direction of creating omni-channel, agile, and value-add experiences for their customers,’ Kalsi said.

‘Measurement will continue to be challenging in the current environment with the proliferation of data sources and interaction points with customers. Digital practitioners continue to grapple with the challenges of either working with multiple dashboards or integration of multiple data and reporting systems.’

Asked the same question, Shah said: ‘The energy industry is becoming more electric, more connected, and more digital. Innovation and technology are both affecting the entire value chain from buildings to transportation to supply chain to the comfort of our homes. The convergence of software, automation, and connected devices has spurred a new level of technological innovation with which we have to keep pace. The intersection of IT and OT has created 'the internet of things' and customers are becoming more digital-savvy, demanding more real-time intelligence from smart connected products.’

Other topics set to be discussed at the event include the continuing digital evolution of transformed companies, creating monetization whilst building user engagement, and the importance of UX teams against more traditional methods of product development. Attendees will be given insights from leading executives, have time to network and discuss ideas, as well as hearing from VH1 and Warner Bros. on engaging the Millennial Consumer.
