BLR Launches Timely Election Podcast, The 2016 Election and the Environment

In this episode, The 2016 Election and the Environment: Shaping Our Future, BLR environmental editor Emily Remmel discusses the upcoming presidential election and the significant environmental impact that will likely occur regardless of who wins. Ms. Remmel also speaks with Iowa Senator Rob Hogg, who has a rich history of public service in Cedar Rapids and beyond. He is currently serving his third term.
Senator Hogg has passionately advocated for policies and practices to improve natural resources and has extensive experience educating people in his home state and across the country to help them understand the dangers of climate change. In 2013, he authored America’s Climate Century, a book detailing what climate change means for America in the 21st century and what to do about it.
