benefitexpress Completes Strategic Integration After Acquisition
Schaumburg, IL (PRWEB) November 03, 2016 -- On the heels of the August acquisition of benefitsCONNECT, benefitexpress announced the launch of its new brand and corporate website, as well as the appointment of key members to its Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Both announcements are the result of strategic planning over the past few months to integrate the two companies and accelerate growth.
When LLR Partners made an investment in benefitexpress in March 2016, the goal was to combine the successful culture and history of the organization, with industry leading talent. At the helm, Michael Sternklar, CEO, augmented the existing leadership team with proven industry executives and has worked to do the same with the subsequent acquisition of benefitsCONNECT.
“We are building upon this successful leadership strategy by finding opportunities to combine the teams of both organizations” said Michael Sternklar, CEO. “We have united the most seasoned, talented and experienced professionals to serve our clients. Our ultimate objective is to become a destination for top industry talent.”
Coming full circle to complete the integration of the two companies, Scott Evans has been appointed as Chief Product Officer. In this role, Scott will spearhead an aggressive product strategy to drive market-based product decisions. He will be laser focused on client needs and will represent the voice of the market in product design and positioning.
“Given his previous position as the COO of benefitsCONNECT, Scott is uniquely qualified and committed to the growth of all products within our business” said Sternklar. “Scott will work closely with all stakeholders to innovate market-leading solutions and implement new offerings to serve our clients.”
Joining the product unit is Gina Ortiz, Director of Product Strategy. Gina has extensive experience in the strategic execution of product architecture, coupled with a deep understanding of technology, which will impact product development. This is a critical role as benefitexpress accelerates product expansion to meet market needs.
A pivotal piece to the integration is a commitment to employee engagement, career pathing, and focus on corporate culture. As newly appointed Chief Human Resources Officer, Korrie Bird will expand her current role as benefitCONNECT’s head of HR and identify a best-in-class approach to continue to drive an exceptional corporate culture.
To complete the successful integration, benefitexpress has officially launched its new corporate website.
The site features a crisp logo, refreshed color palate, expanded service offerings, and unveils a new vision statement; ‘benefit wise. relationship driven.’
“Our new brand is unique because it truly reflects who we are as an organization; a company of people, focused on your people” said Monica Hinchey, Chief Marketing Officer. “The brand introduces our hybrid approach to this business. We call it Human Administration, and it’s the delivery of a highly personal benefit experience with the trust it’s done right. We’re built by benefit experts who rethink technology to meet the demands of benefit complexity.”
