Seattle International Auto Show

The Seattle International Auto Show is the one place to see over 500 new vehicles, test drive over 50 different vehicles and check out a multi-million dollar display of luxury and exotic vehicles.

The 2017-Model Seattle International Auto Show drives into the CenturyLink Field Event Center on Thursday, Nov.10 and runs through Sunday, Nov.13, 2016. The event center will be packed with all the auto industry has to offer – more than 500 vehicles including electric and alternative fuel vehicles, ultra-high-end exotics, luxury rides, test drives and more. From car buffs to casual enthusiasts, the Seattle International Auto Show offers something for everyone.

This annual event offers consumers the chance to compare hundreds of new vehicles side by side, all under one roof, in a non-selling environment. Attendees can sit in the driver’s seats, inspect engines, kick tires, count cup holders, check trunk space, test drive vehicles and take in that new car smell. From Audi to Toyota, dozens of new models will turn heads on the show floor including the Chevrolet Colorado (Motor Trend’s 2016 Truck of the Year), Chevrolet Camaro (Motor Trend’s 2016 Car of the Year), Volvo XC90 (Motor Trend’s 2016 SUV of the Year), the redesigned Honda Ridgeline and more, as well as the latest alternative fuel options such as the BMW i3, Chevrolet Bolt EV and Toyota Prius Prime.

Highlights this year include:

Hot Rod Garage
Sure to steal the spotlight at this year's show is the Hot Rod Garage. Aficionados of the genre will be drooling over the selection of muscle cars, classic cars and hot rod restorations including: ‘55 Chevy 210 Handyman, ‘55 Chevy Coupe, ‘69 Chevy Camaro, ‘67 Pontiac GTO, ‘69 Chevy Camaro Dragster, ‘34 Ford 5 Window Coupe and ‘67 Chevy Nova and more.

ArtCars4Kids
Eleven popular local artists have unleashed their imagination and talent to transform 15 traditional pedal cars into one-of-a-kind works of art. The ArtCars4Kids project takes the idea of a shiny paint job to a whole new level with the mini-cars serving as the artists’ ‘canvas’ for imaginative, unique designs.

Although the cars have already been – or some will be – auctioned at Seattle Children’s Home fundraisers, online, and at other upcoming events, all will be on display at the show. Through the magic of technology, visitors to the show will have an opportunity to get a free caricature of themselves in their favorite pedal car as a souvenir. Additionally, Ryan Henry Ward, Seattle’s most prolific muralist, will be onsite painting one of the cars on Saturday, 10 a.m.- noon.

In honor of Veteran’s Day, two IAV (Interim Armored Vehicle) Stryker armored fighting vehicles will be on display, courtesy of Joint Base Lewis-McChord. On display Friday Nov.11 only.
