Woolpert-RS&H, LLC Wins $9M Contract to Provide Design Support to Air Force Reserve Command Construction Program Nationwide
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (PRWEB) November 04, 2016 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District has awarded the Woolpert-RS&H, LLC joint venture a $9 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide design support for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) construction program nationwide.
The five-year contract brings two industry-leading architecture and engineering companies together to work collaboratively to design some or all of the following types of building structures: administration, education, assembly, storage, special training and other support spaces, aircraft maintenance hangars and airfield paving, and stand-alone buildings, which include unheated storage and direct support/general support warehouses.
“This contract provides another avenue for us to serve our extensive Air Force client base,” said David Ziegman, Woolpert’s military market director. “We believe our work with sustainable and energy-saving design solutions, as well as advances in resilient design, will provide the Air Force Reserve Command with high-performance buildings at a low life cycle cost.”
Ziegman also lauded Woolpert’s joint venture partner.

The contract will expire July 20, 2021.
