YA Adds Industry Veterans from Aimia, Jostens and Target to its Executive Ranks

Dennis Armbruster has joined YA as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. He brings with him nearly 25 years of experience domestic and international experience in customer strategy, customer experience design, CRM, loyalty and promotional marketing services. Armbruster’s most recent position was with LoyaltyOne as a Vice President and Managing Partner. Previously, he held the roles of Vice President and General Manager of Flash Digital Portraits at Lifetouch; and Vice President of CRM and Loyalty Marketing at Aimia (formerly Carlson Marketing).
Armbruster has deep expertise, aligned to YA’s core vertical markets of CPG, retail, manufacturing and subscription services, developing promotional strategies for Kellogg’s, Walgreen’s, Target, BMW, Monsanto, Domino’s, AT&T and Hertz.
Armbruster graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. He has also taken MBA courses from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and has completed Leadership Programs at the University of Minnesota and the Harvard School of Business.
Armbruster is a former Board Member for MarketingEdge, an organization dedicated to placing top college students in marketing jobs, as well as advancing marketing education. He is a contributing columnist for USA Today, and is a frequent speaker at several conferences, including the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), CRMC, NRF and Colloquy Summit.

Cathy Landman has joined YA as the company’s Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She brings with her more than 25 years of experience in the corporate and legal fields. Landman’s most recent position was at Jostens, where she served as General Counsel. Previously she was Chief Legal Officer at The Pampered Chef, a Berkshire Hathaway company. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Texas and Wisconsin.
Landman graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service with an emphasis in Economics. She received her JD graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Doug Holmgren has joined YA as Vice President of Engineering. He brings with him more than 15 years of experience in digital and multichannel commerce. Holmgren’s most recent position was with Target, as a Director of eCommerce and Multichannel solutions. He served in several other leadership roles during his tenure at Target. Prior to that he was Internet Development Manager for US Bank. He also served as a Project Analyst for Wells Fargo.
Holmgren earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He is a member of Think IT, an association that fosters growth and development through networking and collaboration.
