Jacksonville, Florida (PRWEB) November 13, 2016
In November 2016 Health Suite Inc. launched pharmEXP, its 36b Expert Witness Division, to provide expert opinions on civil disputes relating to Section 1401 (36B) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA). Health Suite Inc.’s founder, Manish Bansal, MD, will oversee pharmEXP’s operations and will be responsible for managing subject-matter experts while acting as an expert himself. Dr. Bansal's objective opinions and testimony are based on his experience as a high volume practitioner.
Under the PPACA, subsidies for insurance premiums are given to people with a household income between 133% and 400% of the poverty line who intend to buy a plan from an insurance exchange. Section 1401(36B) of the legislation explains that said subsidy comes in the form of an advanceable, refundable tax credit. pharmEXP can help corporations assess a lawsuit involving this provision, as well as pharmacy-related litigation and civil suits for individuals facing complex Medicare or Medicaid charges.
“Having a subject matter expert provides incremental value not only to the plaintiff but also to the defendant,” explains Dr. Bansal. “The incremental value comes from an unbiased approach where the subject matter expert can analyze, process and make conclusions on medical cases as a third-party.”
