Webinar: Getting the Most Out of Your EAP, with United Benefit Advisors and Mutual of Omaha
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) November 04, 2016 -- The use and impact of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) on employee performance and productivity can be traced back to the 1930s. Since the early days, legislation, economics, technology, natural disasters, and even terrorism have increased the use and adoption of EAPS. Some of the benefits employers may see are lower benefit costs, employee retention, reduced presenteeism, and improved productivity.
To help HR professionals and business owners better understand the benefits and available EAP support program options, United Benefit Advisors (UBA), in conjunction with Mutual of Omaha®, will host a webinar — “Getting the Most Out of Your EAP? Things to Consider.” — on Tuesday, November 15, at 2:00 p.m. ET. To receive complimentary access to the webinar, enter code MUBAOmaha112016 at registration.
“Benefit administrators and HR professionals are stretched very thin between managing ACA legislation, employee productivity and absenteeism, and helping employees balance their professional and personal lives, says Nancy Cannon, Manager, Benefit Solutions Division of Mutual of Omaha. There are EAP tools and resources designed to fit the service level of most any company that includes safety, disaster readiness, wellness, employee management, drug-free workplace, and more.”
Mutual of Omaha’s Nancy Cannon will help you better decipher the various types of services and plans available in the market today, and help you think through and understand what you are paying for when you add EAP to your benefits package. “With a successful gap strategy, employers can enhance their overall benefits package and employees can better manage their health care dollars,” says Cannon.
