Author Gregory Hetzer promotes use of imaging machines in the battle against abortion

In 2011, Gregory Hetzer left a life of wealth and prosperity to embrace the path sent by the Holy Spirit. He transformed his life to fight against abortion and ensure the unborn would have the opportunity to see this world. Hetzer chronicles this mission in support of the unborn and their expectant mothers in “The Battle: When Trumpets Ring.”

In “The Battle,” Hetzer shares how God intervened in his life to guide him on a path of helping others. Confident he had found his calling, Hetzer set out to raise funds for the Knights of Columbus’ Ultrasound Initiative Program. Over the course of a year, Hetzer rallied the funds to donate seven ultrasound machines and in the process, save countless unborn lives. “The Battle” emphasizes the role sonograms and ultrasounds play in preventing abortion, and calls for continued support of programs that aid young mothers.

“Most of my adult life has been focused on what God has planned for me, and that is speaking up for those that do not have a voice,” Hetzer said. “I believe that if we take care of the unborn, then God will take care of us and The Battle is proof of that. I left what I thought was a fulfilling life for something even better and it’s all because I answered the call God gave me.”

Hetzer also provides readers with actionable steps they can take to prevent abortion, as well as information on how to improve the health care system for pregnant women in “The Battle.” He looks to inspire others to join him in the fight to save those that cannot fight for themselves.
