The Villa At Lincoln Park Announces the Ground Breaking of a Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
Racine, Wi (PRWEB) November 10, 2016 -- Villa Healthcare, a leading provider of post-hospital care, has broken ground on their multi-million dollar renovation at the Villa at Lincoln Park, located at 1700 C.A. Becker Drive on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
When Villa Healthcare took ownership of what was known as Lincoln Village on April 1, 2015, the company already had plans for this renovation. In addition to updating the general décor of the facility, they are also more than doubling the size the therapy gymnasium. The new gym will be outfitted with the most state-of-the-art equipment to yield the best results for the guests that come for short term physical rehabilitation.
“This renovation is well underway. The facility staff, short term guests and longer term residents are all buzzing with excitement about the renovation.” said Karen Hayden, Vice President of Operations for Villa Healthcare Wisconsin.
The Villa at Lincoln Park has had more than 300 successful discharges to home over the last year, and the average stay for short-term guests is right around 20 days. Villa Healthcare credits their guests’ success – significantly above national and state averages – to a unique approach to transitional care. The new renovation will bring The Villa at Lincoln Park’s physical plant up to the “Villa Standard”. The new and expanded therapy gym will allow them to serve even more short term rehab guests. The gym will be directly adjacent to the “Suite Recovery” unit, which are strategically designed private suites that allow for optimal serenity while their guests recover.
“We’re really excited to see the plans for The Villa at Lincoln come to life. Our guests and employees deserve to be in an environment that is beautiful and state of the art. We believe that one’s surroundings has the power to help make people better which is ultimately our goal in everything we do." said Mark Berger, CEO
In addition to the newly designed modern dining room, the renovation will bring about a separate Bistro and family and guest lounge designed for comfort and social interaction. The new lounge will be equipped with computers for guests and residents that want stay in touch with family members via the internet.
From short-term rehabilitation to long-term care, Villa Healthcare has near-perfect patient satisfaction scores, five-star care ratings and hospital readmission rates far lower than state and national averages. Villa Healthcare has taken its Exceptional Care, Unexpected Luxury and Passionate Service standards to locations throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan.
