New app adds to Chute’s authentic marketing toolkit

Add photos and videos to your text based posts to add interest and clarity

We developed Chute Stories to allow marketers to have the best of both worlds - text posts enriched with the visual content people are sharing on social media that they’ve discovered and obtained rights to through the Chute platform.

Chute, the leaders in enterprise user generated content (UGC) marketing, today launches Chute Stories. The new app, included in the Chute platform, allows marketers to easily add user-generated photos and videos discovered and managed through Chute or owned content into text-based posts like articles or blogs.

“We believe photos and videos do the best job communicating your brand story,” Ranvir Gujral, Chute CEO, said. “However, we know marketers often want to do more in-depth storytelling and writing. We developed Chute Stories to allow marketers to have the best of both worlds - text posts enriched with the visual content people are sharing on social media that they’ve discovered and obtained rights to through the Chute platform.”

Chute Stories features WYSIWYG tools to make it easy for marketers to create and customize posts quickly. Features include headers and text blocks that users can edit live plus drag-and-drop real-time photos and videos from Instagram and Twitter, existing library of content curated through Chute, or uploaded owned assets. Once a story is published, a simple line of code can be embedded into blog posts, websites, Salesforce Community Cloud sites, or hosted as standalone pages.

Use Cases Include:

  • Building how-to guides featuring product shots
  • Event wrap-ups incorporating attendee content
  • Community-contributed lookbooks for fashion or makeup trends
  • Embed full Chute displays of multiple pieces of content
