LaVoieHealthScience Announces Additions to Senior Leadership and Communications Teams
Boston, MA (PRWEB) November 08, 2016 -- LaVoieHealthScience (LHS), an integrated strategic communications agency focused on the health and life science industry, announced the appointment of health and science communications veteran, Sharon Correia as Vice President, Integrated Communications. Sharon will be based at the agency’s Boston, Mass. headquarters. Sharon joins other members who comprise the senior leadership at LHS, including Lisa DeScenza, Sr. Dir., Beth Kurth, VP, IR, Ben Navon, AVP, PR and Ella Deych, AVP, Finance and Administration.

She brings context, experience and depth and real world expertise having been a specialized communications practitioner for more than 20 years.”
Sharon brings industry tested integrated communications experience across public, investor and professional advocacy relations; and has a B.S. degree in biochemistry from Pennsylvania State University with graduate management and finance courses from American University. She has led the communications teams for multiple NDA and EMA approvals, global product launches, as well as several sNDAs and IPOs. Prior to joining LHS, Sharon was Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Navidea Biopharmaceuticals, a biotech focused on development and commercialization of immunodiagnostics and therapeutics to identify and treat diseases. Sharon has also held other prominent communications roles at BioScale (now ProterixBio); Alseres Pharmaceuticals, Aderis Pharmaceuticals, Oscient, Caliper Life Sciences (Perkin Elmer) and Millipore and has experience in oncology, CNS, autoimmune and infectious disease indication areas.

LHS also promoted Ryan Donovan to assistant account executive. Ryan first joined LHS as a public relations intern in September 2016. Ryan has been an intern sponsored by MassLifeScience Center’s Internship Challenge. Ryan will continue to deliver best-in-class client service across the communications functions of investor and public relations, as well as marketing and strategic communications.
