Lextant Named One of Central Ohio’s Best Places to Work in 2016
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) November 09, 2016 -- Lextant Corporation, an award-winning human experience firm, was recently named one of the “Best Places to Work” in Central Ohio by Columbus Business First.
The annual award recognizes companies in the region that foster a great workplace for their employees. Business First collaborates with Quantum Workplace to conduct employee satisfaction surveys for each nominee and based on the results, 50 companies are selected as winners within the following categories: micro, small, medium, large and extra-large companies.
“At Lextant, we uncover the ideal experiences people desire and that has served as our guide in creating our culture and workplace,” said Chris Rockwell, Lextant’s Founder and CEO. “This recognition is a milestone and testament that our approach is working and I’m very proud of our team, our leadership staff and the award-winning work we are achieving together.”
Lextant’s team of design researchers and user experience specialists uncover and translate consumer desires to help brands create human-centered products and services. Team members travel all around the world conducting field research and have the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 brands like Ford, GE and Procter & Gamble.
Founded in 1998 by Chris Rockwell, Lextant has grown to over 60 employees across two campuses. The firm has thoughtfully designed each campus to foster creativity and collaboration, particularly with its new headquarters in downtown Columbus at 250 S. High St. From its interactive lobby and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout an open workspace to conference rooms equipped with European espresso machines and local brews on tap, Lextant designed the space to encourage a team-wide collaborative culture. The company’s second location in Powell, OH, operates as an interactive testing and research facility for a variety of innovative projects.
Lextant and the other 2016 Best Places to Work winners will be honored at a luncheon on November 10 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus. This award is the most recent in a string of successes for the company and its leadership, including recognition as one of the “Smart50” executives in Central Ohio by Smart Business.
