Colonial Van Lines Partners with Moving Squad to Donate Funds towards Breast Cancer Treatment and Therapy
Margate, FL (PRWEB) November 10, 2016 -- Colonial Van Lines and Moving Squad are happy to announce the results of a recent fundraising effort to help underprivileged females in South Florida currently undergoing breast cancer treatment and therapy. The Glam-A-THON Strut was held on October 15, and all monies raised went to benefit Broward Health Foundation. The Glam-A-THON Strut is well-known in South Florida as a day where girls, guys, kids, and pets can dress in colorful outfits and march for a great cause. Prizes are awarded to the teams with the most creativity and most donations raised.
The staffs at Colonial Van Lines and Moving Squad donated $1,700.00 to Glam-A-THON from an in-house raffle in which most employees participated at $5.00 donations. The company owner Aldo Disorbo matched the donation from employees to make a total of 1700.
